MTT Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide both formal and informal instruction in C-sUAS, adhering to JCU-validated doctrine and approved Programs of Instruction.

• Facilitate classroom, practical, and field training sessions for operational units and installations.

• Develop lesson plans, training aids, and assessment materials that are in line with current C-sUAS threats and defensive strategies.

• Evaluate student and unit performance against established operational C-sUAS standards and document the outcomes.

• Maintain instructor proficiency and ensure currency in Counter-sUAS systems, tactics, and Joint C-UAS University standards.

• Assist in surge operations by increasing instructional capacity to meet peak training demands for Domestic Shield and installations.

• Collaborate with JCU Cadre, the MTT Synchronization Cell, Curriculum Integration Specialist, and Training Operations personnel.

• Adhere to safety, security, and operational protocols during training activities.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is preferred or a comparable level of military/technical experience.

• 5+ years of pertinent instructional or operational experience, ideally in Counter-UAS, air defense, base defense, or similar mission areas.

• Previous military instructor experience, such as holding an Army Instructor Badge, Marine Combat Instructor, or equivalent, is highly preferred.

• An active Secret clearance is mandatory.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Willingness to travel extensively and support both CONUS and OCONUS MTT missions.

• Direct experience in delivering Mobile Training Team or expeditionary C-sUAS training is desirable.

• Familiarity with Joint C-UAS University doctrine, Domestic Shield, or JIATF-401 training frameworks is preferred.

• Excellent presentation, coaching, and classroom management abilities.

• Capacity to surge and operate efficiently in high-tempo training environments.

• Strongly preferred capability to operate Group 1 and Group 2 UAS.
