This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Serve as a point of contact for Western Aircraft clients regarding Interior Program design initiatives and travel to interact with customers to present design alternatives.
• Discover potential new interior business opportunities and collaborate with the MRO Sales team to finalize sales.
• Create proposals and quotes for interior refurbishment and modification projects.
• Compile work packages and statements of work based on customer requirements and program specifications.
• Conduct research and calculate costs/pricing for parts, labor, and external services.
• Collaborate with program and Aircraft Services personnel to ensure the accuracy of quotes, profitability, resources, manpower, and hangar availability.
• Maintain cost, pricing, and reference information for interior products.
• Generate proposal summary documents and facilitate the approval process for quotes.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with OEMs and vendors to support profitable proposals.
• Identify opportunities for upselling.
• Keep customer and opportunity information updated in Salesforce.com.
• Track industry trends, products, and competitors, sharing insights with the MRO Sales team.
• Attend department and company meetings.
• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.
• Ideally possess five (5) years of experience with corporate (VIP) interior completions.
• At least three (3) years of leadership experience within an interior or completion shop is required.
• Comprehensive understanding of aircraft interior completion, production, and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with industry vendors, regulations, and up-to-date interior-completion practices.
• Capability to read, comprehend, and utilize blueprints in a fabrication setting.
• Experience in installing interiors, including the removal and replacement of interior components.
• Preferred experience with paint, wood finishing, and soft goods.
• Excellent customer service skills and a strong executive presence.
• Bachelor's degree in business management or aviation is preferred, or equivalent professional experience in Aviation Interiors.
• Must be located in the Mountain or Pacific Time Zones, ideally near a major city or airport with substantial airline service.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Ability to obtain an airport-issued security badge is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Capable of sitting for 6–8 hours daily, occasionally lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs, performing repetitive wrist/hand/finger movements, traveling up to 50%, and complying with TSA airline-travel regulations.
