MRI Quality Control Technologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct quality control checks on MRI body composition imaging, which includes fat, muscle, and organ segmentation.

• Ensure imaging outputs comply with defined thresholds and acceptance criteria.

• Record and report any deviations to the MRI QC Manager.

• Keep precise QC records and documentation to facilitate audits.

• Implement standardized imaging and QC protocols for assigned cases.

• Detect inconsistencies or errors in imaging outputs.

• Aid in the enhancement of QC processes and reference materials under the guidance of the manager.

• Relay imaging QC findings to technologists, analysts, and clinical personnel.

• Offer feedback to MRI technologists regarding QC results as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and should not require employer sponsorship for a work visa, either currently or in the future.

• ARRT (MR) or CAMRT certification is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist or in MRI image post-processing is necessary.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Medical Imaging, Radiologic Sciences, or a related field is preferred.

• Previous experience in QC or imaging analysis is advantageous.

• Familiarity with MRI body composition or quantitative imaging platforms is a plus.

• Strong technical knowledge of MRI imaging protocols is essential.

• Capability to recognize subtle errors or inconsistencies is required.

• Proficiency in QC documentation and workflow tracking tools is necessary.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are a must.

• Candidates must successfully complete a background check in accordance with applicable federal and state regulations.
