This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Lead business development and sales efforts within the Small Business and Branch Banking sector, catering to companies generating less than $2.5 million in annual revenue.
β’ Forge new business relationships.
β’ Enhance profitability within existing client accounts.
β’ Cultivate and sustain a robust pipeline through self-initiated prospecting and collaboration with Business Banking Specialists and branch associates.
β’ Recognize sales opportunities based on client requirements, market trends, and the organization's products and services.
β’ Deliver consultative sales presentations to current and potential clients.
β’ Clearly communicate the value and advantages of payment solutions to fulfill business needs.
β’ Establish and uphold an effective referral network and calling program.
β’ Promote payment solutions in the small business sector through proactive relationship management and focused sales initiatives.
β’ Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
β’ Three to five years of pertinent sales experience.
β’ Willingness to travel.
β’ 5-8 years of sales experience, ideally in payments or merchant services.
β’ Familiarity with payment processing products, services, and industry practices.
β’ Bilingual capability with proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English and at least one additional language.
β’ Demonstrated experience in business development, marketing, sales, and contract negotiation.
β’ Strong sales aptitude with a proven track record of developing, managing, and advancing a sales pipeline.
β’ Skillful in identifying, escalating, and creatively resolving client issues.
β’ Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, and prioritization abilities.
β’ Proven capability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
β’ Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
β’ Strong customer service orientation with a dedication to follow-up and relationship management.
β’ Experience with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and related technology is preferable.
β’ Proficient in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms to oversee opportunities and monitor sales activities.
β’ Collaborative team player with exceptional relationship-building and partnership skills.
β’ Established record of success characterized by high motivation, integrity, competitiveness, and professionalism.
