Motion Graphics Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Conceptualize and produce motion graphics in alignment with project briefs and brand standards.

• Create storyboards and transform concepts into visually captivating animations.

• Design and generate short looping videos, immersive visuals, and interactive infographics.

• Modify and adjust existing brand videos for different screen sizes and formats.

• Consistently apply client brand guidelines throughout projects.

• Gather stock footage, music, and supplementary assets as required.

• Collaborate with project designers, managers, and team members to ensure timely and budget-conscious project delivery.

• Remain informed about trends, techniques, and software in motion graphics.

• Integrate feedback and make necessary revisions.

• Leverage generative AI tools to enhance and streamline the creative workflow.

⛳️ Requirements

• Provide a link to an online portfolio that highlights motion graphics and video projects.

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in motion graphics design.

• Expertise in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro.

• Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

• Proficient in storyboarding and conceptualization.

• Flexibility in animation styles and techniques, encompassing 2D, 3D, and kinetic typography.

• Background in video editing.

• Exceptional communication, teamwork, and time-management abilities.

• Capability to handle multiple projects with differing deadlines.

• Preferred experience in an agency or retail setting.

• Highly organized with the ability to work autonomously.

• Experience in sound design is advantageous.
