This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Acquire and purchase loans from external lenders.
• Evaluate loans to ensure adherence to bank, regulatory, and investor guidelines as well as customer service standards.
• Assess the acceptability of loans.
• Liaise with lenders, staff, title companies, and other parties to address and resolve outstanding issues.
• Gather required documentation and verify its completeness and accuracy.
• Timely deliver loan packages to the Secondary/Pooling Unit for sale in the secondary market.
• Organize and submit government loan files to HUD/VA for insurance or guaranty purposes.
• Prepare necessary disclosure information within established timelines to ensure regulatory compliance.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Generally, a minimum of one year of relevant experience is required.
• Fundamental understanding of loan processing, closing, and funding policies and procedures.
• Capability to identify and resolve exceptions while interpreting data.
• Proficient in managing multiple tasks/projects and meeting deadlines concurrently.
• Strong data entry and mathematical abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Skilled in navigating various software packages, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Must adhere to U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, as well as relevant workplace conduct and safety policies.
