This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Acquire and purchase loans from external lenders.
• Evaluate loans to ensure adherence to bank, regulatory, and investor standards as well as customer service expectations.
• Assess loan eligibility.
• Coordinate with lenders, team members, title companies, and other parties to address any outstanding issues.
• Gather necessary documentation and verify its completeness and accuracy.
• Forward loan packages to the Secondary/Pooling Unit for transactions on the secondary market.
• Compile and submit government loan files to HUD/VA for insurance or guarantees.
• Generate required disclosure information within specified time frames and maintain regulatory compliance.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Generally, at least one year of pertinent experience.
• Fundamental understanding of loan processing, closing, and funding policies and procedures.
• Capability to identify and resolve exceptions and interpret data.
• Proficiency in managing multiple tasks/projects and meeting deadlines concurrently.
• Strong data entry and mathematical abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Competent in computer navigation across various software applications, including Microsoft Office.
• Candidates must adhere to U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct along with related workplace conduct and safety protocols.
• Must fulfill applicable employment eligibility verification requirements.
