This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Cultivates and maintains relationships with potential and current borrowers through both self-sourced and assigned leads to enhance mortgage loan volume.
β’ Promotes business growth via community involvement, collaborations with real estate professionals and local groups, and proactive use of social media to boost brand visibility and generate leads.
β’ Engages with borrowers and referral partners in various settings to facilitate the origination of mortgage loans.
β’ Provides guidance to borrowers on available mortgage options, establishes clear expectations for the loan process, and stays informed about the latest lending choices.
β’ Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in mortgage lending.
β’ Must be registered as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) and Registry annually.
β’ Knowledge of accurate loan pricing based on credit union rate determinations, including understanding points or discounts.
β’ Proficient with Desktop Underwriter and/or Loan Prospector underwriting systems.
β’ Skilled in using a personal computer, Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), Credit Bureau Systems, and financial calculators.
β’ High school diploma or GED is required.
β’ Must be bondable.
β’ Reliable internet access with a minimum speed of 50MBPS is required.
