Mortgage Loan Funder/Closer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Generate precise Closing Disclosures.

• Secure approvals from borrowers, title companies, and Loan Officers.

• Prepare and timely deliver the closing package to the settlement agent.

• Arrange for funds needed for closing.

• Verify receipt of funds 24 hours prior to closing.

• Manage incoming calls and correspondence.

• Foster strong relationships with title companies, partners, and clients.

• Execute assigned duties efficiently.

• Review and resolve Compliance Alert (Mavent) failures/warnings.

• Clear any funding conditions.

• Complete closing instructions for the settlement agent.

• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and investor regulations and guidelines.

• Track and achieve daily/monthly funding goals and deadlines.

• Communicate effectively with title companies, branch managers, loan officers, and processors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with various loan products (Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, DPA’s).

• Proficient in the Encompass Loan Origination System.

• Strong knowledge of TRID regulations, CD balancing, and loan documentation.

• Accurate data entry and proficient computer skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong collaboration and organizational abilities.

• Positive attitude towards work.

• Capability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Sound judgment and prudent deductive reasoning abilities.

• High integrity and a strong work ethic.

• Bilingual/Spanish speaking is a plus, but not mandatory.

• Must possess flexible hours and be prepared to work as needed.
