Mortgage Loan Construction Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Evaluate a limited selection of new residential Construction to Permanent loans for approval prior to closing.

• Request and assess residential construction inspection reports.

• Submit required documentation for construction draw authorization.

• Review builder applications along with associated documentation.

• Prepare and submit builder packages for approval.

• Maintain logs with the latest completion status, insurance details, and Notice of Commencement information.

• Process invoices for payments.

• Complete mandatory BSA/AML and other designated compliance training.

• Support Construction Team Leads, Specialists, Administrators, and Assistants with coordination of mortgage construction.

• Perform additional related responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completion of four years of high school, along with specialized training through night classes, trade extension, or correspondence courses, equivalent to two years of college.

• Two years of related experience and/or training.

• Capability to effectively convey information and address inquiries in both one-on-one and small group settings.

• Skill in calculating figures and amounts, such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

• Ability to apply fractions, ratios, and proportions to real-world scenarios.

• Competence in using common sense to execute written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.

• Proficiency in handling problems that involve several known variables in standard situations.

• Intermediate skill level in 10-Key, alphanumeric data entry, spreadsheets, and word processing/typing.

• Basic knowledge of accounting, contact management, and payroll systems.

• Strong organizational abilities.

• Self-discipline and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Good grasp of Microsoft Office applications.

• Capability to maintain a state of alertness and operate safely.
