Mortgage Loan Closer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Dispatch closing instructions and document packages to closing agents within specified time frames.

• Verify the accuracy and completeness of information in the Loan Origination System.

• Transfer necessary funds to closing agents within established time limits.

• Review and approve final Closing Disclosures and Settlement Statements prior to authorizing funding and key release.

• Adhere to the closing requirements, forms, and procedures set by investors and states.

• Ensure the correctness and accuracy of loan documents before funding.

• Coordinate closing processes with escrow coordinators, Branch Managers, and Loan Officers.

• Collaborate with processors and borrowers to gather required approval conditions.

• Oversee loan-closing timelines and funding volume to achieve funding objectives.

• Monitor fees that are charged, collected, and waived.

• Acquire documents and corrections requested by Post Closing or investors.

• Provide assistance to the Closing Supervisor as required.

• Work alongside the Division Manager and Loan Officers on local marketing initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in closing and/or processing Conventional/FHA/VA loans.

• 3 to 5 years of experience with mortgage software applications.

• Strong proficiency in computer skills.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Familiarity with office procedures.

• Up-to-date knowledge of closing and title requirements.

• Valid driver's license.
