Mortgage Collector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Collect payments on assigned overdue accounts.

• Review documentation related to accounts.

• Reach out to customers/clients via phone and written communication.

• Organize repayment plans.

• Reduce losses incurred by the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• At least one year of experience in collections and/or customer service roles.

• Familiarity with loan collection policies, fair debt collection practices, and applicable laws.

• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.

• Capability to identify and resolve discrepancies, as well as to organize and interpret data.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Experience in mortgages is highly preferred.

• Must be available to work the designated schedule: Monday–Friday 11:15 AM–8:15 PM EST, along with one Saturday per month from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM EST.

• Candidates must adhere to U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, as well as relevant workplace conduct and safety regulations.
