Mortgage Closer, Funder

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Generate and distribute precise Initial Closing Disclosures (ICDs) to borrowers.

• Identify and resolve closing challenges while ensuring an excellent customer experience.

• Facilitate the transfer of lender funds to ensure transactions close efficiently and on schedule.

• Review details of loan documents, including sales price, loan amount, and vesting.

• Verify adherence to federal, state, and program regulations.

• Collaborate with Loan Officers, Bridge Loan Specialists, Loan Assistants, and settlement teams.

• Conduct audits of signed closing packages prior to the release of funds.

• Oversee a pipeline of 50–60 loans each month.

• Mentor, cooperate, and share insights with team members.

• Assist with special projects and meet team requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of recent experience in closing residential loans (expertise in cash-out refinancing is a significant advantage!).

• Proven experience managing 50–60 closings per month in a dynamic, high-volume setting.

• Ability to swiftly troubleshoot and resolve closing issues.

• Excellent attention to detail and precision.

• Strong proactive communication abilities.

• Highly organized, self-driven, and capable of working autonomously.

• Proficiency in using a Loan Origination System (LOS) and other lending technologies.

• Familiarity with Meridian Link.

• Prior experience working remotely and the ability to remain connected in a distributed team environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• Capability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Ability to set up and consistently operate a computer.

• Competence in communicating and exchanging accurate information via phone or internet video applications.
