Monitoring Analyst – Safety

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee drivers’ electronic logs and Hours of Service (HOS) to ensure adherence to FMCSA regulations.

• Actively recognize potential HOS violations and compliance risks.

• Track drivers in real time and offer guidance to help them stay compliant.

• Engage with drivers regarding their log status, available driving hours, and possible violations.

• Examine and assess ELD data to detect inconsistencies, irregularities, or compliance challenges.

• Take prompt action to avert or reduce potential HOS violations.

• Elevate critical compliance or safety concerns to the relevant teams.

• Keep precise records of monitoring activities, violations, and corrective measures taken.

• Assist drivers with inquiries related to HOS regulations and ELD utilization.

• Work collaboratively with Operations, Safety, and other pertinent teams to ensure safe and effective fleet operations.

• Conduct ongoing monitoring during the night shift and respond swiftly to alerts or compliance matters.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the skill to interpret data and perform accurate calculations.

• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to recognize potential issues before they escalate.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities, capable of professionally assisting and guiding drivers.

• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple priorities.

• Capacity to maintain composure under pressure and make sound decisions independently.

• Proficient with computers and quick to learn new software and internal systems.

• Reliable and dependable, able to work overnight or extended shifts as necessary.

• Previous experience in transportation, logistics, dispatch, or customer service is advantageous but not mandatory.
