This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Market the complete range of Molecular products to healthcare establishments, such as hospitals, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), reference laboratories, and women’s health clinics.
• Engage with various stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to facilitate complex decision-making processes and achieve prompt results.
• Foster market share expansion by identifying and nurturing new business prospects throughout Ohio.
• Establish and implement best practices utilizing customer insights to surpass business objectives.
• Effectively prioritize and organize tasks to enhance business operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and resources in a cooperative environment.
• Cultivate trust and long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing mutually beneficial solutions.
• Predict potential sales deficits and execute contingency strategies through troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Oversee intricate, long-term capital sales cycles.
• Comprehend client objectives across laboratory, procurement, medical directors, clinical engineering, and C-suite stakeholders, and gauge the impact of Abbott solutions.
• Partner with the Enterprise Account Manager to secure business within large hospital systems.
• Manage and lead renewal processes for non-enterprise accounts to guarantee retention and satisfaction.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Over 4 years of sales experience.
• Demonstrated success in strategic sales, including exceeding targets and revitalizing underperforming territories.
• Skills in innovation and change management, with the capability to introduce new concepts and drive them throughout the organization.
• Strong business planning aptitude and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with SalesForce.com Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
• Currently reside in Ohio, preferably in Columbus, OH.
• Accessible to a major metropolitan airport.
• Willingness to travel up to 80%.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Preferred: Sales experience in diagnostics or laboratory settings.
• Preferred: Over 2 years of experience in capital equipment sales.
• Preferred: Background in capital sales and/or multi-stakeholder environments, developing and marketing customized solutions to senior-level/C-suite executives.
• Preferred: Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and a service-oriented mindset.
• Preferred: Ability to make logical and timely decisions based on analysis and experience.
• Preferred: Proper documentation of calls.
• Preferred: Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Preferred: Capability to persuade others and proactively enhance conditions and processes.
• Preferred: Interpersonal skills and experience in customer interactions.
