This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +1 more state.
• Market the comprehensive range of Molecular products to healthcare institutions, including hospitals, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), reference laboratories, and women’s health clinics.
• Propel significant growth within the assigned area by securing new business opportunities and enhancing existing accounts.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to facilitate complex decision-making processes and achieve rapid results.
• Identify and nurture new business prospects throughout the territory.
• Create and implement best practices informed by customer insights.
• Effectively prioritize and plan to optimize business operations.
• Utilize cross-functional teams and resources within a cooperative framework.
• Foster trust and establish enduring customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing mutually beneficial solutions.
• Anticipate potential sales deficiencies and devise contingency strategies through effective troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Oversee complex, long-term capital sales processes.
• Comprehend client objectives across laboratory, procurement, medical director, clinical engineering, and C-suite stakeholders.
• Measure the impact of Abbott solutions.
• Work in conjunction with the Enterprise Account Manager to secure contracts in large hospital systems.
• Manage and drive renewals to ensure retention and satisfaction for non-enterprise clients.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Over 4 years of sales experience.
• Demonstrated success in strategic sales, including exceeding targets and revitalizing underperforming regions.
• Skills in innovation and change management.
• Strong business planning skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Proficiency in Salesforce.com Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
• Must currently reside in the southern Philadelphia area.
• Convenient access to a major metropolitan airport.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.
• Valid driver's license.
• Preferred: experience in sales within diagnostics or laboratory sectors.
• Preferred: a minimum of 2 years in capital equipment sales.
• Preferred: background in capital sales and/or multi-stakeholder environments.
• Preferred: experience in developing and marketing customized solutions to senior-level/C-suite executives.
• Ability to acquire technical and scientific knowledge and apply it in sales scenarios.
