This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Assist in managing moderate auto claims that involve property damage, bodily injury, and legal representation.
• Conduct investigations related to coverage and liability issues.
• Assess damages and associated risks.
• Engage in communication with clients and legal representatives.
• Negotiate equitable settlements for injury claims.
• Guide each claim through a prompt, fair, and thoroughly documented procedure.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Execute additional related tasks as assigned.
• Previous experience in handling third-party casualty claims is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing bodily injury claims.
• Experience in handling moderate bodily injury claims.
• Preferred but not mandatory experience with claims in Tennessee, Mississippi, or Kentucky.
• Familiarity with tools such as NextGen, Mitchell Decision Point, and Casualty Center is a plus.
• Excellent verbal communication skills over the phone.
• Ability to work independently and remotely while effectively managing time.
• Understanding of insurance policies, coverage, and liability assessments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to successfully evaluate and negotiate injury claims.
• Knowledge of innovative tools and platforms for efficient claims assessment.
• Availability to work Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM EST/CST.
• Must acquire an adjuster and/or appraiser license within 60 days of hiring if necessary.
• If currently possessing an active insurance license, must terminate all existing appointments and refrain from holding outside appointments during employment.
• Resident producer license holders seeking an adjuster position must formally surrender that license when directed.
• Must undergo a background check.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; Allstate typically does not sponsor employment-based visas.
• Must maintain a dedicated, private workspace with suitable desk and seating arrangements.
• Reliable internet connection with a minimum of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload speeds is required.
• Regular and predictable attendance is crucial.
