Mobile Software Engineer – iOS, Android SDK

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Algeria.

📋 Description

• Develop and deliver mobile SDK features from conception to launch, including problem identification, design, implementation, testing, enhancement, and final release.

• Enhance the performance, reliability, release quality, backward compatibility, and developer experience across native SDKs and associated services.

• Troubleshoot issues within SDKs and customer integrations by utilizing logs, diagnostics, and hypothesis-driven methods.

• Collaborate with Product and Delivery teams to comprehend customer use cases and constraints.

• Suggest straightforward and practical solutions, streamlining partner integration towards achieving “first story live.”

• Improve documentation, code samples, and integration guides.

• Recognize integrator challenges and advocate for enhancements in developer experience.

• Continuously refine tooling, scripts, templates, CI pipelines, test suites, and development scripts.

• Leverage AI tools for exploration, scaffolding, and refactoring, while validating outputs through tests, types, and sound judgment.

• Engage in code reviews and contribute to collaborative problem-solving methodologies.

• Take ownership of work from start to finish, identify blockers early, communicate effectively, and ensure follow-through until release.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of practical experience in developing production mobile applications or SDKs using Swift for iOS or Kotlin for Android.

• In-depth knowledge of at least one native mobile platform: Swift for iOS or Kotlin for Android.

• Familiarity with contemporary native mobile frameworks and build tools.

• Understanding of APIs/HTTP, mobile app lifecycles, performance optimization, and automated testing.

• Proactive attitude with the ability to foresee issues and offer solutions.

• Comfortable with AI-assisted coding, utilizing AI as a standard starting point.

• Capable of clearly articulating technical decisions and trade-offs.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration.

• Dependability, ownership, and accountability for the quality of work.

• Experience in creating libraries and APIs for use by other developers.

• Familiarity with mobile SDKs, reusable libraries, developer tools, cross-platform SDKs, SDK distribution, CI/CD, or versioning is advantageous.

• Contributions to open-source projects, personal projects, technical documentation, and interest in sports, media, or content technology are a plus.

• Must possess the legal right to work in Algeria, either freely or through a visa.
