This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Create, develop, and sustain the company's mobile application for iOS, Android, or both platforms.
• Produce clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices and coding standards.
• Convert designs, wireframes, and product specifications into functional features.
• Implement and utilize APIs to connect the application with backend services and third-party integrations.
• Identify and resolve bugs, crashes, and issues related to performance and stability.
• Monitor application performance and enhance speed, responsiveness, memory usage, and battery efficiency.
• Write and execute unit and integration tests.
• Keep the application updated with the latest OS versions, device types, and platform requirements.
• Oversee the build, release, and deployment processes for the App Store and Google Play.
• Manage versioning, rollouts, and post-release evaluations.
• Collaborate with product teams, designers, QA, backend developers, product managers, business stakeholders, and senior developers.
• Engage in code reviews, project planning, and technical discussions.
• Document technical decisions, architecture, and processes.
• Adopt secure coding practices to safeguard user data.
• Ensure adherence to relevant privacy, data protection, App Store, and Google Play regulations.
• Stay updated on trends, tools, and frameworks in mobile development.
• Suggest enhancements to the application’s architecture, codebase, and user experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience from coding bootcamps or certifications.
• 1–2 years of experience in software development.
• 1–2 years of experience working with mobile platforms.
• Strong organizational skills and a keen focus on process management.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Capability to work with iOS, Android, or both platforms.
• Familiarity with APIs, backend services, and third-party integrations.
• Understanding of unit and integration testing.
• Knowledge of App Store and Google Play build, release, and deployment processes.
• Awareness of secure coding practices, along with privacy and data protection requirements.
