Mobile Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Conduct annual preventive maintenance within a designated geographic area.

• Execute hands-on repairs and maintenance in accordance with JLL standards, regulations, and laws.

• Carry out preventive maintenance and repair tasks on HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems.

• Identify opportunities for energy savings through modifications to facility systems and operations.

• Perform routine maintenance on buildings, plumbing, and additional tasks as required.

• Plan work assignments independently and carry out duties with minimal supervision.

• Assist in various trades as a helper and with the general maintenance and operation of buildings and grounds.

• Travel by truck to multiple locations within the designated geographic area.

• Engage daily with teams in-person, via phone, and through email.

• Ensure that commercial properties are maintained in optimal operational condition.

⛳️ Requirements

• Universal CFC certification is mandatory.

• At least 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC service and repairs, or 5 years of military experience involving HVAC systems.

• High school diploma or GED is required.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.

• Proficient hands-on skills and knowledge to perform repairs and maintenance on commercial HVAC systems, including pumps, motors, air handlers, automation/controls systems, and related electrical systems.

• Competence in using Microsoft Office Suite, web-based applications, and portable electronic devices.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capacity to manage relationships with team members, contractors, building occupants, and clients.

• Knowledge of English language structure, including composition, spelling, and grammar.

• Self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive outlook.

• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

• Willingness to work outdoors, in mechanical/equipment rooms, and under extreme weather conditions.

• Capability to operate around moving mechanical parts, heavy equipment, electrical hazards, fumes, chemicals, and loud noises.
