Mission Systems S/4HANA Quality Process Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Act as the quality focal point for Mission Systems, facilitating the integration of operational processes and tools into the SAP S/4HANA implementation.

• Organize operations involvement across enterprise workstreams, including R2R, O2C, S2P, and P2S.

• Collaborate with operations, supply chain, engineering, and finance teams to embed operational quality requirements into system design and deployment strategies.

• Spearhead the design, standardization, and rollout of SAP S/4HANA Quality processes.

• Ensure Quality integration across planning, warehousing, manufacturing, transportation, and fulfillment sectors.

• Establish and execute Quality master data, material movement, warehouse, and inventory control processes.

• Align SAP S/4HANA QM functionalities with manufacturing, planning, and distribution operations.

• Lead site preparedness through business simulations, user acceptance testing, Quality data validation, and operational readiness tasks.

• Facilitate integration across the Mission Systems digital thread, linking engineering product definition, ERP production planning, and Manufacturing Execution Systems.

• Engage in ERP deployment tasks including process validation, system testing, and operational readiness preparation.

• Oversee quality organization involvement during deployment phases.

• Assist in post-deployment stabilization efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 7 years of experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in the quality domain.

• More than 5 years of experience with SAP systems.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% both domestically and internationally.

• Proven experience in supporting ERP transformation projects such as SAP S/4HANA deployments.

• Background in coordinating operational integration across enterprise workstreams like P2S, O2C, S2P, or R2R.

• Strong comprehension of quality processes and tools.

• Experience with system integrations and deployments.

• Knowledge of quality process concepts within Mission Systems and Collins Aerospace.

• Capability to manage intricate enterprise transformation projects involving cross-functional teams.
