This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis on missile manufacturing, supply chain dynamics, and industrial base dependencies.
• Create comprehensive written materials, including memos, reports, briefings, and data summaries, tailored for senior stakeholders in the Department of War.
• Identify capability deficiencies, production limitations, material issues, vendor dependencies, and prospects for enhancing the missile industrial base.
• Collaborate with government program offices, industry partners, and technical specialists to gather and validate information.
• Provide support for working groups and engagements with senior leadership.
• Contribute to the modeling and evaluation of production chains, capacity, and timelines.
• Assist in program planning, risk evaluations, and strategic options analysis.
• Travel up to 20% to government locations, program offices, and industrial facilities.
• Offer data-driven insights to senior leaders to guide decision-making regarding risks and opportunities within the missile industrial base.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., engineering, physics, data analytics, operations research, or a related discipline).
• Over 10 years of experience with missiles or the Missile Industrial Base.
• Exceptional writing, presentation, and analytical communication abilities.
• Proven experience in producing formal reports based on research findings.
• Capability to clearly articulate complex technical issues to senior stakeholders across Federal agencies.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
• Desired: Previous experience supporting OSW, Joint Staff, or Service staff.
• Desired: Master’s degree in a relevant technical or analytical discipline.
• Desired: Experience within a DoW missile program office (acquisition, engineering, logistics, or industrial base).
• Desired: Industry experience in the production of missiles, components, or sub-components.
• Desired: Experience in developing visual or functional models of production chains or industrial processes.
• Desired: Familiarity with a Service’s Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process.
• Desired: Active Top Secret clearance.
