Mining Market Sector Lead – Part-Time

📋 Description

• Enhance Onterris’s presence within the U.S. market by identifying new opportunities and establishing sustainable workflows across various segments.

• Convert market trends in the mining sector into actionable client development strategies.

• Propel a cohesive go-to-market strategy and create appealing client offerings.

• Represent Onterris in the U.S. mining sector across states such as Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Idaho, and Utah.

• Coordinate efforts among U.S., Canadian, and Australian mining teams.

• Lead initiatives in mining pursuits and account development.

• Serve as the Key Client Leader within Onterris’s Key Client Program.

• Supervise and support Key Client Leaders with account planning and strategic initiatives.

• Identify and nurture high-growth accounts for the client pipeline.

• Oversee contract renewals and secure new customer Master Service Agreements (MSAs).

• Collaborate across service lines to create integrated go-to-market solutions.

• Promote teamwork among divisional sales teams.

• Track trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in the mining sector.

• Act as a knowledgeable and trusted advisor to clients in the sector.

• Formulate a U.S.-specific sales strategy and set annual revenue goals.

• Develop a robust opportunity pipeline and ensure the quality of Salesforce data.

• Recruit a full-time U.S. Mining Leader for future growth.

• Identify gaps in technical capabilities and propose effective solutions.

• Enhance the utilization of current operational resources.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience in the environmental industry.

• Proven success in managing large key accounts within a consulting environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Science, or a related technical field.

• Demonstrated ability to lead effectively in a matrixed environment and function as a trusted advisor to clients.

• Strong leadership abilities and skills in team collaboration.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Adaptable and resilient in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Expertise in strategic account planning, sales forecasting, and CRM management, especially in Salesforce.

• Proactive and growth-focused mindset, with the ability to challenge existing processes and introduce innovative solutions.

• Willingness and ability to travel domestically, up to 25%.
