This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Conduct investigations and assessments of accident benefit claims to ascertain eligibility for coverage and determine suitable resolutions.
• Manage a variety of claims, including those related to medical rehabilitation and disability.
• Coordinate actions and decisions to ensure each claim is resolved in the most effective manner.
• Maintain comprehensive and precise file records within the electronic claims system.
• Address correspondence from claimants and manage accident benefit forms in accordance with relevant legislation.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned to assist the department and achieve organizational objectives.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with claimants and representatives, along with a dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Prior experience in a medical or legal setting, or possessing a background in these fields, is considered an asset.
• Currently enrolled in or have completed the CIP designation.
