MidLevel Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and maintain data pipelines for the purposes of data ingestion, transformation, and processing.

• Develop and enhance data solutions utilizing Python and SQL.

• Engage with various data sources to transform and prepare data for use.

• Oversee, diagnose, and enhance data pipelines and related processes.

• Implement Git and CI/CD methodologies to facilitate development and deployment workflows.

• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, and other stakeholders to comprehend data needs and provide effective solutions.

• Participate in ongoing improvements in data quality, performance, and reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in roles such as Data Engineer, Data Developer, or a similar data-oriented position.

• Extensive experience with Python programming.

• Strong proficiency in SQL.

• Practical experience in developing and maintaining data pipelines.

• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and CI/CD practices.

• Advanced/Fluent English proficiency – C1 level or higher.

• Effective communication skills for meetings, discussions, and written correspondence with international stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a global and diverse environment.

• Experience with Azure and its data services is an advantage.

• Familiarity with Databricks is a plus.

• Knowledge of PySpark is advantageous.

• Understanding of cloud-based data platforms and contemporary data engineering techniques.
