
Middleware Integration Developer – API-SOA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Design and develop new integration scope for Mission Critical API-SOA platforms
• Engage in the Production support rotation to maintain integration platforms
• Contribute to the Enterprise functional roadmap and API-SOA strategy development
• Offer engineering insights into API/EAI/SOA solution architecture
• Design and construct transformations for B2B-EDI and XML integration streams
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and customers to clarify requirements and document technical designs
• Evaluate designs and code for reusable components, minimal system impact, and quality assurance
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and stress testing of interfaces
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support, including critical on-call assistance
• Review and improve team support procedures
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call support rotation for Mission Critical applications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience
• Proficient in interfacing with both technical and non-technical personnel across all organizational levels
• Strong work ethic with a demonstrated ability to drive issues to resolution
• Excellent customer service skills and strong collaborative capabilities
• Advanced understanding of API, EAI, ESB, and SOA technologies
• Basic knowledge of EDI collaboration and associated supply chain, logistics, and financial transaction sets
• Advanced development proficiency in Apigee API Management, Axway API Gateway, or similar platforms
• Basic familiarity with an Enterprise Service Bus such as Oracle SOA Suite
• Experience with J2EE, XML, HTTP, JMS, SQL, XSLT, and/or XQuery
• Advanced understanding of log monitoring and log aggregation tools like Splunk Enterprise, or equivalent
• Advanced knowledge of Linux OS and Oracle DB environments as they pertain to interface development and support
• Working knowledge of ServiceNow Incident and Change management, or similar tools
• Experience integrating source control systems with API-SOA, particularly SVN
• SAFe Agile trained or certified
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are permitted access to information under this program/contract
