This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design distinct components, modules, classes, and devices.

• Code, debug, document, and sustain specific portions of software and hardware.

• Execute various types of testing.

• Engage in estimation and planning sessions.

• Contribute to both technical project documentation and user documentation.

• Provide assistance to test engineers and support personnel regarding technical issues related to software installation and operation.

• Take part in conference calls and face-to-face meetings with the Customer and Customer partners.

• Adhere to engineering practices, technical standards, and project quality criteria.

• Report on status and progress in line with project and company requirements.

• Identify shortcomings in development processes, procedures, engineering practices, environment configurations, and related areas; propose enhancements.

• Elevate technical issues to the Architect, Team Lead, and Project Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience with C.

• Familiarity with cloud connectivity applications, including monitoring and Firmware-Over-the-Air (FOTA) solutions.

• A strong foundation in communication technologies such as LTE, BLE, OpenThread, MQTT, and cybersecurity.

• Practical experience with Yocto Linux.

• Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting embedded systems, including software debugging on actual devices (using J-Link, ST-Link) and resolving system-level issues.

• Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency.

• Knowledge of hardware is advantageous.

• Experience with Docker, GitLab, and Jira is a plus.
