Middle/Senior Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Russia.

📋 Description

• Create backend services utilizing Go, ethkit, and go-ethereum for Ethereum interactions and RPC integration.

• Collaborate with ZK Stack infrastructure, encompassing EraVM, system contracts, and L1↔L2 messaging.

• Develop and sustain wallet backend indexing integrations for real-time token balance tracking and webhooks.

• Design and execute APIs for NFT marketplace and orderbook services, featuring on-chain order matching and settlement flows.

• Implement layers for smart contract interactions using abigen-generated Go bindings for ERC-20/721/1155 tokens.

• Establish backend support for Account Abstraction (ERC-4337), including UserOperation submission and monitoring, paymaster gas-sponsorship logic, and session-key issuance and revocation.

• Create blockchain event scanners with reorg handling for Ethereum, Polygon, and Xsolla ZK chains.

• Develop BFF (Backend-for-Frontend) services that orchestrate complex multi-chain operations.

• Design caching and indexing strategies for on-chain data utilizing Redis and MongoDB.

• Produce thorough tests, including integration tests with a local ZKsync test environment.

• Document APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger.

• Oversee and troubleshoot production systems, addressing blockchain-specific edge cases such as stuck transactions and gas estimation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience with Go.

• Strong knowledge of MongoDB and PostgreSQL, encompassing query optimization and indexing.

• Experience with Redis for caching and managing sessions.

• Familiarity with message queues like NATS or RabbitMQ.

• Proven experience in designing and implementing REST APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger.

• Understanding of microservices architecture patterns.

• Experience with Docker and basic container orchestration.

• Proficiency in Git and GitLab CI/CD.

• Solid grasp of distributed systems concepts.

• Preferred: Experience with Ethereum/EVM blockchain integration.

• Preferred: Knowledge of ZK Stack/ZKsync Era.

• Preferred: Working knowledge of ERC-4337 Account Abstraction.

• Preferred: Familiarity with EIP-712, ERC-1271, and WebAuthn/passkey signature schemes.

• Preferred: Understanding of ERC-20, ERC-721, and ERC-1155 token standards.

• Preferred: Experience with blockchain event processing.

• Preferred: Knowledge of DeFi concepts and NFT marketplace mechanics.
