Middle School English Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Certified Middle School English Teachers will manage instructional programs virtually from their home office in Indiana.

• Complete grading, generate progress reports, and conduct parent conferences promptly.

• Facilitate the instructional program with both asynchronous web conferencing and synchronous instruction.

• Review the curriculum and create alternative methods for delivering lessons to enhance student comprehension, working closely with both students and parents.

• Regularly communicate with parents, students, and fellow teachers to develop and update Personal Learning Plans and schedules.

• Oversee the completion of assignments and provide guidance on special projects.

• Acquire a broad understanding of the comprehensive K-12 curriculum and an in-depth knowledge of the specific courses for which responsible.

• Assist students and parents by offering alternative strategies and additional support with daily tasks and projects.

• Participate in the organization and management of State Testing as directed.

• Must be highly qualified and certified to teach Middle School English in Indiana.

• Strong proficiency in technology, particularly with Microsoft OS, MS Office, and Google Suite.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

• High degree of adaptability.

• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrated history as a team player.

• Ability to work occasional evening hours as necessary to support some families.

• Must utilize a personal electronic device and an email address for 2-step authentication.
