Middle Product-Minded Fullstack Developer, Node.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Analyze and enhance existing services to improve performance, scalability, and security.

• Develop flexible and scalable APIs for future services, taking into account the needs of frontend and upcoming mobile applications.

• Proactively identify bottlenecks in the system before they become critical issues.

• Maintain the current infrastructure, monitor errors, and address them promptly.

• Provide multiple implementation options for tasks, detailing the risks and benefits of each.

• Independently manage tasks from analysis through to deployment.

• Create a robust Career Development Platform product for skill assessment, training, and user support.

• Collaborate with backend engineers, frontend engineers, PMs, QA engineers, and DevOps engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Confident experience in commercial development at the Middle Full Stack Developer level.

• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Experience with Node.js.

• Familiarity with React and Next.js.

• Knowledge of NestJS and Fastify.

• Experience with MikroORM.

• Proficient in PostgreSQL/MySQL.

• Skilled in REST API and integrations, including webhooks and payments.

• Experience with Docker and AWS.

• Familiarity with Sentry, logging, and performance tuning.

• Experience with key-value storage.

• Knowledge of message brokers/queues.

• Experience with unit/integration testing.

• Utilization of AI tools, primarily Claude, in work.

• EdTech/HR-tech experience is a nice-to-have.

• Familiarity with PHP Laravel/Redis for migration is a nice-to-have.
