Middle .Net Full-Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain functionalities across the Angular storefront and .NET backend.

• Assist in migrating the legacy ColdFusion e-commerce platform to a contemporary technology stack.

• Implement and support integrations with pre-existing systems and services.

• Engage in the development of the new Order Management System.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and testable code for production use.

• Identify and resolve bugs in both front-end and back-end components.

• Clarify requirements by directly consulting with knowledgeable individuals.

• Estimate tasks and promptly communicate any blockers.

• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to solution design.

• Take part in team code reviews.

• Work with Azure-based environments and CI/CD pipelines, adhering to established engineering standards.

• Utilize AI coding assistants responsibly for prototyping, development, debugging, and enhancing delivery efficiency.

• Operate under the technical guidance of the Team Lead.

• Own features from start to finish, including clarification, estimation, development, testing, review, release support, and maintenance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of professional experience in .NET development, specifically with C# and ASP.NET Core (.NET Core versions 8-10).

• Strong experience with Angular and TypeScript, particularly in developing and maintaining front-end components.

• Proficient in working with REST APIs, backend services, and integrations between front-end and back-end systems.

• Solid SQL Server experience, including skills in query optimization and indexing.

• Experience writing hand-crafted, parameterized T-SQL using Dapper, incorporating multi-result-set queries, CTEs, window functions, and occasional cross-database joins.

• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, CMS, or other complex business applications is a significant advantage.

• Knowledge of CQRS/mediator pattern (MediatR implementation).

• Experience with background/scheduled job processing (e.g., Hangfire, Quartz, or similar) is a notable plus.

• Understanding of legacy system modernization and experience with existing codebases.

• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based applications, including Blob Storage, CDN, Azure AD/Identity, and App Service.

• Familiarity with structured logging and observability tools (e.g., Serilog, Application Insights, Elastic APM, or similar) is advantageous.

• Comprehension of CI/CD pipelines, Git, branching strategies, and standard development workflows.

• Experience in writing unit and integration tests; knowledge of the testing pyramid.

• Basic understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices.

• Experience with PCI-DSS-related systems is a plus.

• Capability to investigate issues, troubleshoot problems, and independently identify solutions.

• Ability to clarify requirements with the team and ask pertinent questions when they are unclear.

• Willingness to utilize AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude Code.

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team, engage in code reviews, and provide constructive feedback.

• Upper-Intermediate level of English or higher.

• Availability for at least 4 hours of daily overlap with New York time.
