Middle Mobile QA Engineer – FitMe

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Evaluate features against specifications by reviewing acceptance criteria and crafting adaptable, robust test scenarios.

• Employ test design methodologies to enhance coverage and reduce risks.

• Record and prioritize defects, providing reproducible steps, screenshots/logs, and detailed descriptions.

• Keep scalable, current test documentation, including checklists and regression notes.

• Prepare release candidates for deployment.

• Verify build stability.

• Work with JSON configuration files to check flags, values, and conditions impacting production functionality.

• Set up and validate A/B tests for designated user segments.

• Take responsibility for product quality and advocate for quality-related decisions.

• Engage in planning, retrospectives, and discussions.

• Collaborate with development, analytics, design, and marketing teams to uphold product quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of QA experience, ideally with mobile or cross-platform products.

• Capability to work with requirements, independently create test scenarios, and evaluate risks.

• Strong knowledge of iOS and Android mobile platforms, including fundamental architecture, UI/UX patterns, background operations, permissions, and app lifecycle.

• Proficiency in selecting test devices and justifying device/OS choices based on target demographics, market conditions, and product details.

• Familiarity with iOS Sandbox and Google Wallet, including limitations, security policies, and testing nuances for payment and authorization processes.

• Experience using Charles Proxy for traffic interception and analysis.

• Experience with Xcode and Android Studio for logs, simulators/emulators, and builds.

• Understanding of Jenkins or other CI/CD tools, including pipelines and logs.
