Middle General QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the quality assurance process within the team from the initial stages through to the feature release.

• Foster and promote a robust quality culture among team members.

• Conduct manual functional, ad-hoc, acceptance, and exploratory testing across both desktop and mobile browsers.

• Create and uphold automated tests along with comprehensive test documentation (including cases and checklists).

• Assist with releases from the testing perspective.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of commercial experience in software testing.

• In-depth understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, processes, and industry best practices.

• Proficiency in creating test documentation such as test cases, checklists, and bug reports.

• Familiarity with task management tools, specifically JIRA.

• Experience in utilizing test management tools like TestRail.

• Strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Comprehensive knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML, and JSON.

• Fundamental understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Expertise in cross-browser testing for both desktop and mobile platforms.

• Experience with cloud testing services, such as BrowserStack.

• Good understanding of client-server architecture and experience in API testing (using Postman or similar tools).

• Familiarity with log analysis tools (such as Kibana or similar).

• Proficient in English at an Upper-Intermediate level, as communication with team members will be conducted in English.
