Mid Software Engineer – .Net, Definity

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and maintain high-level enterprise applications utilizing the Microsoft .NET technology stack.

• Develop and support distributed n-tier applications to provide dependable and scalable business solutions.

• Write clean, maintainable, and high-quality code in accordance with established coding standards and best practices.

• Design, develop, and enhance SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and database integrations.

• Create and manage RESTful Web APIs and backend services.

• Write and execute unit tests to ensure software quality and reliability.

• Engage in architecture discussions, technical design, code reviews, and testing activities.

• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, QA Engineers, and fellow developers within an Agile Scrum setting.

• Contribute to user story refinement, sprint planning, and the implementation of new features.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and address production issues while continually enhancing system performance and scalability.

• Provide technical assistance and collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of commercial experience in .NET development.

• Extensive experience with C# and ASP.NET MVC.

• Practical experience with Entity Framework.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, stored procedures, and query optimization.

• Experience in developing RESTful Web APIs.

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience with Azure DevOps (Boards, Repositories, Pipelines).

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services.

• Proficient in using Visual Studio.

• Understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

• Capability to work independently while effectively collaborating within a cross-functional team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• English proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher.

• Nice to have: Experience in developing AI Agents or Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions.

• Nice to have: Understanding of concurrent programming and scalable application design.

• Nice to have: Experience in contributing to software architecture and technical design.
