Mid-Level Web C#/.NET Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Ensure systems operate efficiently, securely, and at scale.

• Contribute to the ongoing development of Prosoft products and systems, providing value to our customers.

• Engage in discussions regarding architecture and propose enhancements.

• Share expertise and assist fellow team members.

• Develop and improve web applications utilizing C# / .NET Core, DDD, SOLID, CQRS, and MediatR.

• Implement and sustain RESTful Web APIs, focusing on performance, security, and code quality.

• Diagnose and resolve intricate bugs in both testing and production environments.

• Create and execute unit and integration tests.

• Contribute to advancements in architecture, performance, and development practices, including conducting code reviews.

• Take part in Agile ceremonies such as Daily Stand-ups, Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives.

• Develop and maintain C# desktop applications and VB6 (Visual Basic 6) code as required.

• Assist in effort estimation and delivery planning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in developing web applications using C# / .NET Core at a mid-level to advanced mid-level capacity.

• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and Clean Architecture.

• Practical experience with Web APIs and adherence to the RESTful standard.

• Application of DDD (Domain-Driven Design), Dependency Injection, CQRS, and MediatR (Commands and Queries).

• Proficient in SQL, particularly with SQL Server or PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with Git version control, actively used in Azure DevOps, along with knowledge of TFVC for managing legacy systems, including branch management concepts.

• Knowledge of or experience in developing for Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud platforms, particularly Web Apps and Functions.

• Hands-on experience with AI tools aimed at enhancing software development productivity, such as Kiro, Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.

• Experience working with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, or a related discipline.

• Preferred qualifications include experience with language model APIs, automated testing, messaging and asynchronous processing, Redis, SignalR, NoSQL databases/MongoDB, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and front-end development using HTML, TypeScript, Angular, or React.
