Mid-Level Test Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage in planning and refinement meetings to clarify requirements and establish test scenarios.

• Plan and document test scenarios effectively.

• Execute and log tests in accordance with the established plan, utilizing the demand management tool and proposing enhancements.

• Conduct maintenance testing and validate bugs.

• Collaborate with developers to analyze and resolve defects efficiently.

• Assist in the automation of repetitive and regression tests by creating automated scripts.

• Present comprehensive test reports.

• Monitor and evaluate quality and performance metrics using monitoring tools and dashboards.

• Facilitate internal training sessions.

• Advocate for continuous improvement in testing tools, technologies, and processes.

• Mentor and support junior test analysts through training sessions, guidance, and mentorship.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Networks, Systems Analysis and Development, or related disciplines.

• Familiarity with exploratory, functional, and non-functional testing.

• Understanding of requirements analysis techniques.

• Knowledge of API testing methodologies.

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MSSQL, and Git.

• Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Cucumber.

• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban).

• Understanding of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) test development techniques.

• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).

• Familiarity with testing techniques, including black-box and white-box testing.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.

• Proficiency in English is required.
