Mid-level Software Engineer – Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Java 11 or later.

• Proven track record in developing applications using Spring Boot and/or Quarkus.

• In-depth understanding of microservices architecture, scalable APIs, resilience patterns, high availability, and distributed systems.

• Hands-on experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.

• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure platforms.

• Experience working with Kubernetes and Docker containers.

• Proficient in building CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases.

• Understanding of vector databases.

• Practical application of SOLID principles, Clean Code, and Design Patterns.

• Awareness of observability for critical applications.

• Proficient in using GitHub.

• Experience utilizing AI-assisted productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot.

• Demonstrated proactivity and an ownership mentality.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams.

• Strong technical curiosity and a commitment to ongoing learning.

• Ability to work autonomously while being responsible and attentive to code quality.

• Experience in agile teams (Scrum/Kanban).
