Mid-Level Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, low-latency RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Ensure the reliability and quality of deliverables through automated testing, including unit, integration, and load testing, along with thorough code coverage.

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Tech Leads, and Data Engineers to convert complex business challenges into effective technical solutions.

• Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend ongoing enhancements to architecture and database queries.

• Proactively monitor production systems and resolve issues to maintain the stability and reliability of our services.

• Mentor less experienced professionals (L1 and L2) in technical development, fostering engineering best practices and a culture of mentorship.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in backend development using Java (Spring Boot) or C# (.NET Core).

• Hands-on experience in building and maintaining microservices architectures and distributed systems.

• In-depth knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL or SQL Server) as well as NoSQL databases (Redis, MongoDB).

• Experience with messaging systems and asynchronous event processing (Kafka or RabbitMQ).

• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker and Kubernetes).

• Proficient in version control (Git) and continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Prior experience in fintech, payments, or high-scale transactional financial platforms.

• Practical understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Clean Architecture, or hexagonal architectures.

• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace).
