Mid-Level ServiceNow Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, maintain, and enhance solutions on the ServiceNow platform.

• Create and customize applications utilizing App Engine, Flow Designer, and automation components.

• Implement and sustain integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems through REST and SOAP APIs.

• Engage in collecting and detailing technical and functional requirements with business units and multidisciplinary teams.

• Develop workflows, business rules, client scripts, script includes, catalog items, and other components of the platform.

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and enhance medium- and high-complexity incidents and issues.

• Ensure quality of delivery through testing, documentation, and code reviews.

• Utilize GitHub for code version control and Jira for managing and tracking activities.

• Support ongoing improvement, process automation, and initiatives to enhance the platform user experience.

• Collaborate with senior developers, Technical Leads, and architects to define and implement technical solutions.

• Estimate development efforts and assist the team in planning delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing on the ServiceNow platform.

• Proficient in JavaScript and the key components of ServiceNow development.

• Experience with App Engine and Customer Service Management (CSM).

• Familiarity with REST and SOAP integrations.

• Understanding of data modeling and SQL commands.

• Experience using GitHub for code version control.

• Knowledge of Jira and agile methodologies (Scrum and/or Kanban).

• Ability to analyze requirements and convert business needs into technical solutions.

• Experience in investigating and resolving medium-complexity technical issues.

• Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and teamwork abilities.

• Preferred: experience with ITSM, ITOM, or other ServiceNow modules.

• Preferred: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.

• Preferred: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.

• Preferred: experience with digital transformation projects and process automation.

• Preferred: familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD processes.

• Preferred: understanding of integration architecture and microservices.
