Mid-level Quality Engineer – Focus on Credit Granting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Lead the development of the quality strategy within the team, encompassing all elements of the solution from requirements gathering to code implementation.

• Create and implement test scenarios based on business needs articulated through user stories.

• Oversee testing activities and share knowledge regarding the tools utilized.

• Design automated tests for APIs and user interfaces.

• Engage throughout the entire product development lifecycle, from initial concept to production deployment and ongoing maintenance.

• Contribute to collaborative product design efforts.

• Take part in Quality Chapters and Communities of Practice.

• Foster and advocate for the spread of a quality-oriented culture among peers and operational teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Develop test strategies at various levels: unit, integration, system, and acceptance.

• Perform both manual and automated testing.

• Create and execute automated API and web interface tests within GitLab pipelines.

• Implement improvements in processes, technology, and tooling to boost quality.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.

• Experience collaborating within teams, particularly in Agile Testing environments.

• Validate non-functional requirements.

• Proficient in Java and JavaScript.

• Experience with TestNG and JUnit.

• Knowledge of Rest Assured, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, and BrowserStack.

• Understanding of software development practices and patterns.

• Nice to have: experience with Cloud Computing infrastructures.

• Nice to have: familiarity with microservices and distributed architecture concepts.
