Mid-Level QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Perform manual functional testing for both the website and mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.

• Develop and maintain test cases, checklists, and test plans for upcoming features.

• Execute regression and smoke testing prior to releases across all platforms.

• Evaluate AI features, focusing on the correctness of generation/redesign, edge cases, and performance.

• Assess monetization features, including subscriptions, payments, and paywalls.

• Document and track bugs, collaborate with the development team until resolution, and validate fixes.

• Automate basic web regression and routine scenarios while maintaining existing automated tests.

• Engage in the release process by reviewing builds and managing test environments.

• Test SEO-critical elements with the development team, ensuring rendering accuracy, proper metadata, and functioning links.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in manual QA for web and mobile products.

• Solid understanding of testing methodologies, types, and design techniques.

• Experience in cross-browser testing including Chrome, Safari, and Firefox.

• Familiarity with cross-platform testing across iOS and Android.

• Regular use of AI tools for task automation in daily operations.

• Proficient with bug tracking systems and test documentation.

• Knowledge of API testing with the ability to interpret logs.

• Automation skills or a willingness to learn quickly.

• Experience with DevTools and a foundational understanding of client-server interactions.

• Strong attention to detail, a product-oriented mindset, and a proactive approach to identifying issues.

• Ability to work independently, take responsibility for product quality, and prioritize effectively under release deadlines.
