Mid-Level QA Analyst, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage actively in sprints by outlining intricate test scenarios.

• Perform both manual and automated testing.

• Develop, sustain, and enhance test automation scripts and frameworks for front-end, back-end, and mobile applications.

• Suggest ongoing improvements to the development process to boost system reliability.

• Incorporate and utilize Artificial Intelligence tools within the workflow to expedite test creation and failure analysis.

• Assist in training and mentoring junior team members.

• Aid in the configuration and monitoring of automated tests integrated into Continuous Integration pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience with quality assurance processes, encompassing modeling, test scenario creation, test strategies, and management reporting.

• Hands-on experience with manual testing.

• Proficient in developing and maintaining automated system tests using Java.

• Familiarity with API and integration testing using Postman and Rest Assured.

• Hands-on experience validating messaging topics and queues with Kafka and/or RabbitMQ.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Jenkins.

• Experience with management tools and agile methodologies.

• Practical experience in monitoring quality metrics and preparing test reports.

• Working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence tools, including LLMs and coding assistants, to enhance technical efficiency.

• Nice to have: familiarity with load and performance testing tools, such as k6 and JMeter.

• Nice to have: basic understanding of Docker for running test environments.
