Mid-Level Java Back-End Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create software by coding applications, programs, and systems in accordance with project specifications and requirements.

• Conduct software testing, identify problems, bugs, and code errors, and implement fixes.

• Ensure deliverable quality, meet deadlines, and maintain customer satisfaction.

• Document code to support product maintenance and future updates.

• Assist the development team by offering technical guidance and leadership for solution delivery.

• Design efficient, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.

• Investigate and integrate new technologies to enhance software performance and efficiency.

• Monitor production systems, identify problems, and apply corrective solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certification in Programming Languages (preferred).

• Certification in Cloud Technologies (preferred).

• Understanding of Artificial Intelligence in development, including tools like Devin, Cursor, or Gemini; AI API integration; LLM concepts; and best practices for implementing AI in back-end applications.

• Bachelor's degree in Technology or a related discipline.

• Proficiency in Java versions 8, 11, and 21.

• Familiarity with Spring Boot.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.

• Experience with SQL Server and Sybase databases.

• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Knowledge of message brokers such as Kafka, Pub/Sub, or RabbitMQ.

• Experience in teams utilizing agile methodologies like Scrum, XP, or Kanban.

• Strong, assertive communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

• Experience in creating and monitoring batch processing, preferably using Spring Batch.

• Familiarity with system integration patterns.
