Mid Level Interaction Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Provide interaction design for a significant GDS initiative

• Collaborate effectively with diverse teams

• Address intricate, sensitive, and rapidly evolving service design challenges

• Contribute to public services with a high social impact

• Utilize user research to influence outcomes for the public

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in Interaction Design / UX Design

• Familiarity with NHS, GDS, or GOV.UK projects

• Proficient in Figma and prototyping techniques

• Knowledge of GOV.UK/NHS prototyping toolkits and HTML-based prototyping

• Practical experience with Heroku

• Expertise in user journeys, wireframes, and usability testing

• Strong understanding of WCAG/accessibility guidelines

• Experience in Agile team environments

• Valid right to work and travel within the UK; documentation required

• Completion of satisfactory vetting, references, and occupational health checks required

• A Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check may be necessary based on the role
