This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Convert assessment requirements into clear and compelling content.

• Develop engaging and factual materials for learners, providers, and other stakeholders throughout the assessment process, including videos, animations, and support documentation.

• Design apprenticeship standards and assessment materials for EPA and apprenticeship evaluations in accordance with the roadmap and budget.

• Update and improve existing assessment materials, processes, and documentation in alignment with the roadmap and document control register.

• Conduct risk assessments on product viability from design through delivery to ensure scalability and quality.

• Utilize instructional design principles and learning theories to craft effective, accessible, and engaging educational materials.

• Create essential artifacts to assist learners, providers, and employers.

• Employ learning technologies, authoring tools, platforms, software, AI tools, and multimedia applications to develop online assessments, MCQs, learning resources, and supporting documentation.

• Oversee multiple products at various stages of their lifecycle.

• Ensure adherence to Ofqual’s General Condition of Recognition.

• Maintain continuous professional development for relevant competencies and knowledge.

• Potentially assist with or execute assessment delivery.

• Identify prospective future products by analyzing specifications and requirements, evaluating new product ideas, and implementing product changes or updates.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to aid in managing the product roadmap and program of regulatory changes.

• Work closely with colleagues to ensure deadlines are met and stakeholders are kept informed.

• Perform additional duties as required.


⛳️ Requirements

• A solid understanding of Apprenticeship Assessment and EPA.

• Commercial awareness and comprehension of the educational landscape, including the needs of providers, employers, and relevant governing bodies.

• 3-5 years of proven experience in managing a portfolio of products.

• In-depth knowledge of instructional design principles and learning theories, with the ability to apply these across various media and methods.

• Familiarity with Ofqual’s General Condition of Recognition.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• The capability to listen, understand customer needs, and collaborate with others to translate those into effective product solutions.

• Ability to work collaboratively with and influence both internal and external stakeholders, motivating them to make informed decisions.

• Experience utilizing AI tools and integrating them into workflows to enhance quality and create time efficiencies.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of working accurately and meticulously; adept at managing multiple relationships and deadlines effortlessly.

• A data-driven mindset, able to make informed and factual decisions and communicate precise information.

• A customer-centric approach, with the ability to manage expectations of both internal and external parties.

• A commercial perspective, with the ability to identify opportunities.

• Ability to manage several products while meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.

• Proficient use of Office 365, SharePoint, and PowerBI.

• A diverse skill set and knowledge of instructional design tools.

• Experience in curriculum design (desirable).

• Understanding of Equalities Law and its application across educational solutions (desirable).

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all learners and apprentices.

• Successful completion of identity verification, reference checks, relevant online searches, and review of employment history.
