Mid-Level Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance comprehensive functionality for platforms utilizing Open WebUI.

• Create and maintain APIs using Python/FastAPI, incorporating SQLAlchemy, migrations, and integrations with both internal and external services.

• Implement user interfaces in Svelte/SvelteKit and React, employing TypeScript and Tailwind CSS.

• Work with RAG pipelines, encompassing document ingestion and chunking, embeddings, vector databases, hybrid search, and reranking processes.

• Design custom tools, functions, and pipelines to manage model calls, function executions, and integrations with client systems.

• Provision and support applications on Azure, including Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Key Vault, Blob Storage, and PostgreSQL.

• Automate builds, testing, and deployments through CI/CD pipelines utilizing Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions and Docker.

• Oversee observability, costs, and security measures, including logs, metrics, access control, secrets management, and token limitations.

• Engage in architectural decision-making, perform code reviews, and contribute to the technical excellence of the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience in backend development with Python, ideally FastAPI; experience with Flask or Django is also appreciated.

• Proficiency in asynchronous programming.

• Practical experience with Svelte/SvelteKit or React using TypeScript; expertise in one with a willingness to learn the other.

• Demonstrated experience in deploying applications to production on Azure, covering compute, basic networking, storage, managed databases, and secrets management.

• Daily utilization of Docker, including builds, multi-stage builds, and Docker Compose; familiarity with orchestration is a plus.

• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, relational modeling, ORM (SQLAlchemy), and SQL.

• Familiarity with REST, JWT, OAuth2/SSO, WebSockets, and the integration of third-party APIs.

• Proficient in Git, including branching, pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.

• Ability to read technical English documentation and source code from open-source projects.
