Mid-Level Developer – Full-Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, enhance, and maintain Fast Shop’s Seller App.

• Create new features, enhancements, and resolve bugs.

• Evaluate functional and technical requirements, collaborating with the Product Owner and team for refinement.

• Develop solutions prioritizing quality, performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.

• Investigate and address incidents, conducting root cause analysis and recommending permanent solutions.

• Integrate the application with APIs, services, and systems within the Fast Shop ecosystem.

• Conduct log analysis and troubleshooting.

• Create and uphold unit tests, supporting the quality strategy.

• Engage in code reviews.

• Collaborate with developers, QA, Product Owners, architecture, and other teams.

• Participate in refinement sessions, planning, progress meetings, and retrospectives.

• Provide technical estimates and identify risks and dependencies.

• Assist with deployments, user acceptance testing, and monitoring of production releases.

• Document solutions, integrations, and technical decisions.

• Monitor features post-deployment and respond to anomalies.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of architecture, code, processes, and engineering practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional experience as a Software Developer, ideally at the mid-level.

• Experience in developing and maintaining applications within corporate settings.

• Proficiency with REST APIs and system integrations.

• Familiarity with Git.

• Experience with agile methodologies and working in multidisciplinary squads.

• Proven ability to analyze and rectify bugs in production environments.

• Knowledge of Clean Code principles, SOLID, and design patterns.

• Competence in unit testing and software quality assurance.

• Experience in developing mobile and/or web applications.

• Understanding of JSON and application-to-application communication.

• Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases.

• Knowledge of CI/CD practices.

• Experience with logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

• Understanding of authentication and authorization concepts.

• Knowledge of software architecture and system integration.

• Basic understanding of cloud technologies and distributed application environments.

• Experience in systems development.

• Familiarity with frontend and backend practices.

• Knowledge of web security and performance.

• Experience with microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, React, Angular, GraphQL, Flutter, and Python.

• Familiarity with OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, and Maven.

• Experience with JMS queues, ActiveMQ, or Kafka.

• Knowledge of NestJS, ReactJS, Firebase, GitHub Actions, VTEX IO, and VTEX Commerce.

• Experience in unit testing with JUnit.

• Proficient in logging with Datadog.

• Familiarity with Oracle, SQL, MySQL, and Aurora databases.

• Experience with caching using Redis.

• Knowledge of Scrum.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
