Mid-Level Database Administrator, Teradata Vantage

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Manage, operate, and oversee analytical databases within a large-scale, high-availability setting.

• Deliver ongoing maintenance and technical support for the Teradata Vantage system.

• Ensure the continuous functionality of analytical databases integrated with the data center infrastructure.

• Create, monitor, and resolve technical tickets in alignment with ITIL standards.

• Interpret technical documentation written in English.

• Engage in written communication with vendors to initiate and monitor technical support requests.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Technology or a related discipline, or another higher education qualification along with a postgraduate certification in IT.

• ITIL Foundation v3 certification or a higher level, or recognized training; equivalent training may be considered upon verification.

• Completion of Introduction to Teradata Vantage 2.3 training or comparable training.

• Proven experience as a Database Administrator in a large enterprise environment with high availability.

• Proficiency in administering, operating, and monitoring analytical databases.

• Experience providing ongoing maintenance and technical support for Teradata Vantage systems.

• Adequate technical IT English skills necessary for reading articles and technical documentation, as well as for basic written communication with vendors.
