This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Oversee and manage the PrimaWeb recipe database for Student Nutrition.
• Create, enter, update, analyze, and sustain recipes, ingredients, nutritional data, and meal contribution metrics.
• Assess changes in ingredients, products, and vendors, and revise recipes and meal pattern contributions accordingly.
• Ensure recipe information aligns with USDA Child Nutrition Program regulations and the standards of Student Nutrition.
• Perform regular audits and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Keep track of trends and regulations that impact the recipe database.
• Recognize opportunities for enhancing database processes, data integrity, and workflow efficiency.
• Assist in system testing, enhancements, and the rollout of new database functionalities.
• Offer technical support and training to users of the recipe database.
• Work in collaboration with teams in Operational Excellence, Marketing, Culinary Systems & Standards, and Food Service Solutions.
• Report directly to the Menu Director as part of the culinary data team within Student Nutrition Operational Excellence.
• A Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Service Management, Culinary Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
• Registration as a Dietitian is preferred.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of management experience in school nutrition, recipe management, nutrition analysis, or foodservice operations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of USDA meal patterns and food crediting standards.
• Strong grasp of recipe standardization, culinary mathematics, and operational and budgetary feasibility analysis.
• Familiarity with recipe management or nutrition software systems.
• Proven problem-solving skills and experience in accurately managing complex data.
• Advanced analytical abilities, proofreading skills, and computer proficiency.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with SQL is a plus.
• Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Must acquire ServSafe and Allertrain certifications within the first three months.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% as necessary.
