Mid-level Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and uphold scalable data pipelines and infrastructure.

• Lead data analytics and machine learning initiatives for international clients.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to guarantee data integrity and usability.

• Document data workflows, processes, and architectures thoroughly.

• Incorporate data quality measures into data pipelines.

• Build CI/CD pipelines for ETL processes.

• Offer technical assistance and resolve data-related challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong communication skills in reading, writing, and speaking.

• Demonstrated experience with modern data engineering stacks in cloud environments.

• Experience with the Databricks platform is essential for this role.

• Prior experience with Spark, Python, and SQL is required.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for ETL processes.

• Proficiency in dimensional data modeling.

• Experience in implementing Data Lake/Data Warehouse solutions.

• Databricks certification is advantageous.

• Experience collaborating with international clients.

• Experience with Azure or AWS platforms.

• Proficient in Power BI.

• Understanding of Data Quality practices.

• Knowledge of Data Governance utilizing Unity Catalog.

• Awareness of FinOps as it applies to the data domain.
